Né en 1978, Aurélien Police est illustrateur indépendant et exerce dans divers domaines comme la réalisation de pochettes de disques, d'illustration d'articles de presse ou de couvertures de romans pour des éditeurs et des groupes internationaux ou encore l'illustration jeunesse. Il s'intéresse également au cinéma et étend son champ d'action à la direction artistique de courts métrages ou de films d'animation. Il se sert de l'outil informatique comme d'un creuset pour y mêler toutes sortes de matières premières, brouillant les frontières entre différents média pour donner à ses images un rendu graphique qui lui est propre. Flirtant avec de nombreuses thématiques souvent associées au fantastique, au polar ou au merveilleux, il décline au travers de ses illustrations une vision toute personnelle de ces genres.

I think this might be one of my favorites so far.  Could it be that my roots are a love of comic books and graphic novels?  Either way, I really like how you've incorporated various elements, layering them and making the illustration really very rich.  I too would have to say that it's pretty haunting and almost feels like the portrait of a victim/prey being stalked by a predator.
