Hailey Idaho is someplace you might want to think about visiting if you are an outdoors lover. If you are looking for things to do, here are some activities you might want to consider: Biking Here you will find many great trails to ride on. The Wood River Trail is one of the most popular in the town. This 32 mile long trail goes through Bellevue, Hailey, Ketchum and Sun Valley. The trails are used by vacationers as well as locals riding to work. If you are a more serious biker, you will find some more extreme riding a bit north of Hailey in the Sawtooth National Recreation area. Hiking If you prefer hiking, than again the Sawtooth National Recreation Area is the place to go. You can do everything from a short day trip to scaling a 10,000 peak. White water rafting Idaho is actually referred to as the whitewater state because of all the rivers it has. The best one for rafting close to Hailey is the Salmon River. In particular, the Middle Fork section of the river offers some incredible rafting, and is well worth checking out during your trip.
